Who are the teachers

A survey has been done to profile US teachers. Among other things, teachers are getting older, more experienced, and less white. Sadly, most are planning to leave the profession within the next five years. You can see the full report here

Bias?

A frequent attack I hear from conservatives and conservative media is that NPR is biased. I decided that it might be useful to begin to chronicle stories from both NPR and WPR (Wisconsin Public Radio) that counters this conceptions.

See 8/22/2005 8AM a political strategists defends Republicans during a time in which many are turning against the party.

See 8/22/2005 6AM a guest defends public funding of same sex schools.
This is certainly a conservative opinion that is clearly profiled far more in depth on public radio than on something like Fox news.
